Introduction
I am a Registered Nurse with interest in clinical practice, population health intervention, public health research and teaching. I am currently studying for a PhD Population Health Sciences degree, and I work part-time as a Research Assistant in the School of Dental Sciences, Newcastle University.

Research interest
Public Health: I am interested in public health research especially around areas such as cigarette smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, obesity and overweight, anxiety and depression.
Smoking Cessation: My primary research interest is in smoking cessation with focus on the role of electronic cigarettes and its regulation in smoking cessation.
Qualitative Research: I am particularly interested in qualitative research. I am currently using qualitative approaches for my PhD study and leading the qualitative evaluation of ENHANCE-D trial (https://fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/award/NIHR129780) in my role as a Research Assistant in the School of Dental Sciences, Newcastle University.
