Research
As a team member of Professor Joris Veltman group, I currently assigned to be responsible for the technical part of the genomics research in infertility.
My current interest is to learn more about Next Generation Sequencing and data interpretation in the field of genetic diseases.
I am in charge of doing Sanger sequencing for the confirmation of NGS finding using our SeqStudio machine.
I am also involved in the phasing work using Oxford Nanopore Technology and long range PCR.
Performing QPCR and MLPA to validate Copy Numbers Variations (CNV) are part of my duties within our research group.
