Emerita Professor Carol Jagger
Emerita Professor
Background
I retired in June 2021 as AXA Professor of Epidemiology of Ageing in the Population Health Sciences Institute at Newcastle University. I retain an active interest in heathy ageing, particularly healthy life expectancy, and the Population Ageing and Care Simulation model (PACSim), which I developed with Dr Andrew Kingston. I have also retained chair of the Newcastle 85 Study Data Guardians Group.
