Hassina is a Senior Administrator supporting the Programme Managers, Evidence Synthesis and Horizon Scanning Specialists and Analysts working within the National Institute for Health and Research Innovation Observatory at Newcastle University.

With 30 years of experience in administration, Hassina trained with Northumbria Police in general office procedures before working at Newcastle City Council. Her most recent role before joining the Innovation Observatory was a Technical Support Officer for the Engineering Department where she was responsible for fee income and management of the staff time sheet system.

Hassina is involved in the organisation and management of workflow and processes to ensure the timely delivery of information and data to NIHRIO stakeholders, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) and NHS England (NHSE).
