I graduate from Aleppo University-Syria in 1999. Then I completed a two-year postgraduate diploma in operative dentistry in 2003 and a Master’s degree in endodontics 2006 Damascus University-Syria where I was interested in the effect of Nd:YAG Laser on leakage after root canal treatment. I then completed my PhD at the Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London where I compared different filling techniques using a Micro Computed Tomography. Currently I have a role as a Clinical Lecturer in restorative dentistry in the School of Dental Sciences at Newcastle University.
I served as a council member in the British Endodontic Society between Mar 2018 and Jun 2021, I did my utmost best to commit to the duties related to this role. I am very interested in Endodontics and would like to be up to date with what the IADR society would consider an evidence-based state of the art in the Endodontics field.
