Staff Profile

I have graduated from Durham University in 2022 with an honours degree in Psychology. During my studies, I have done an exchange year in Heinrich Heine Universität, Düsseldorf, which has sparked my interest in the applications of colour and light in everyday life and in various professions. I have been working as a research assistant in Professor Anya Hurlbert's lab since January 2023, doing research into colour vision deficiencies, the use of colour vision in different occupations and the impact of colour appearance on the perceived qualities of food items.
