Background
I have recently joined the university with my new role as Research Technician within the Newcastle Fibrosis Research Group (NFRG), where I will be investigating the biology of tumour-associated neutrophils in the hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tumour microenvironment.
Before moving to Newcastle, I completed my BSc Biological Sciences and MSc Molecular Medicine at the University of Leeds, focusing on molecular oncology and immunology. My research project with the Stem Cell and Brain Tumour group (SCBT) primarily focused on the immune microenvironment of malignant brain tumours, and worked to optimise clinical brain tumour models.
