Background
I hold a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies from Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, Italy (2018, cum Laude).
Shortly after my graduation, I joined the Newcastle Fibrosis Research Group as a technician and then as a PhD student, under the supervision of Prof. Derek Mann, Prof. Jelena Mann and Dr Caroline Wilson, trying to dissect the role of hepatic nfkb1 in inflammation and ageing.
After submitting my thesis, I joined Dr Lisa Russell's group and I am currently working on hijacked superenhancers in B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (B - ALL).
