Staff Profile

Melina is the Communications Manager for the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Her main responsibilities are to develop, implement and deliver the NIHR Newcastle BRC communications strategy across key digital channels to raise the profile of the Newcastle BRC and its research to stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally.

With a BA in Visual Communications and a MA in Visual Anthropology, Melina worked as Digital Communications Manager for UACES, the University Association for Contemporary European Studies, in the past and as a Producer for various charities and NGOs including Save the Children UK, the International Committee of the Red Cross and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
