Introduction
I am an ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in the visual problems of children. I undertake clinical research in this area with the aim of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of children's ophthalmic services. I have also developed a multidisciplinary service for the assessment of visual symptoms experienced by patients with dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.
