Research Interests
My research interests include:
- research on pathomechanisms underlying FSHD
- development of sensitive biomarkers for myopathies
- investigation of cellular and molecular pathways driving muscle wasting
- role of inflammation in myopathies

Investigating circRNAs as biomakers in myopathies such as Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).
