rosiered Brownson-Smith
Research Assistant
I have an extensive background in biomedical sciences and cancer research. I obtained my BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University and an MSc in Cancer from University College London, graduating with Distinction. Currently, I am near completion of my PhD, where my research focuses on the prevention of nerve damage during neurotoxic chemotherapy for breast cancer.
I joined the Translational and Clinical Research Institute as a Research Associate in July 2024. In my current role, I oversee the UNEEG project, which examines the acceptability and impact of ultra-long-term subcutaneous EEG monitoring in individuals with epilepsy and intellectual disability. My research aims to use digital technologies to improve the lives of those with chronic diseases, making significant contributions to the future of healthcare.
