Background
Dr Simon Hill is a Consultant in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics and Clinical Toxicologist with a specialist interest in drug misuse, particularly new psychoactive substances.
He is the Director of undergraduate medical education at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals working closely with Newcastle University Medical School to ensure excellence in medical education for students based in Newcastle Hospitals.
He is module lead for Drug Discovery and Development at Masters (MRes) level and has a particular interest in Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear medicine.
He is training programme director for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics in the North East HEE region
