Background
I currently support three translational research projects within the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
1) AMLO. Validation of a novel prognostic test for early-stage cutaneous melanoma. This multicentre study aims to identify patients true risk of disease progression, funded through the NIHR and spin-out company AMLO Biosciences.
2) HUNTER. An international collaboration of universities from the UK, Spain and Italy studying Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). The study will define the HCC immune microenvironment and aims to predict response to anticancer therapies. UK sites funded through Cancer Research UK.
3) A-Star Bio. The project will collate a bioresource of tissue samples from patients undergoing systemic therapy for atopic eczema. Funded from the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD).
