Nathan Kindred
Postgraduate Research Student Joint Lead
Nathan is a second year PhD student in the Institute, researching the impacts of stress and ageing on the brain. He is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and is particularly interested in improving how members of this community are treated, because of their sexuality and/or gender identity, in both STEM and academia. As the Institute’s Joint Postgraduate Research Student EDI representative, Nathan hopes to champion and improve the treatment of all marginalised groups within the Institute, and to make sure that underrepresented voices are heard. He is also a founding member of DiMeN Diversity and a lover of music, plants and fashion.
