How we're keeping you safe in COVID-19

Your student life at Newcastle will be different in autumn 2020. But we're making changes to ensure you still have a great university experience.

You'll still be able to enjoy social activities from our clubs and societies, with a combination of online and in-person activities.

Your teaching will be delivered online and in-person, on campus. And for those who can't make it to campus, you can access what you need online.

From Sunday walks along the Quayside, to seminars and lectures from our award-winning academics, student life at Newcastle University is varied and rewarding.

During an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, there'll be plenty of time for you to get out and explore the city and the surrounding area, as well as to get involved with the clubs and societies at University.

Newcastle University has been rated 7th in the UK for overall student experience and 4th in the UK for social life (The Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2018), reflecting the high levels of student satisfaction.
