Our Biology and Zoology courses in Clearing
At Newcastle, our Biology and Zoology students study the same modules for the first year, giving you time to explore the subjects and decide which area you want to specialise in.
Whichever course you study, you can choose an optional work placement. You'll spend 9-12 months on a placement during Stage 3 where you'll get real experience working in the field. You may, instead, prefer to study abroad for a year, where you can immerse yourself in new cultures, enhance your academic profile and gain a global perspective.
