All our Computer Science students study the same modules for the first two years, before specialising in the final year. This gives you time to explore the subject and decide which area you want to specialise in.

Whichever course you study, you can choose an optional industrial placement. You'll spend a year on a paid placement between Stage 2 and Stage 3 where you'll get real experience working in the field. You may prefer to do a year abroad, where you can immerse yourself in a new culture, enhance your academic profile and gain a global perspective.

Our degrees are accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) so you can be assured that you’ll graduate with a degree that meets the rigorous standard set by the industry.
