Committee

Our Faculty Engagement and Place Committee meets quarterly to discuss Faculty-wide initiatives and the latest work in engagement.

The committee delivers the FMS Engagement and Place plan, and how this interlinks with other major strategies. This could include strategies such as Global, Research for Discovery and Impact and Education for Life. It is key for communication with the wider university.

Meetings focus on discussing Faculty-wide projects and how to take these projects forward. This is to ensure successful delivery. The committee discusses engagement activity. This is to help showcase current initiatives.

We are a diverse group of working professionals from across different:

  • job families
  • career stages
  • subject disciplines
  • backgrounds

We are all passionate about engagement.

We work closely with our University Engagement and Place team to support university-wide events. We share and support best practice

Our committee members are also part of the Social Justice Advisory Group and work closely with our Dean of Social Justice. We ensure our engagement work in FMS addresses social justice issues and health inequalities.
