We maintain a commitment to conventional discipline-based research. But, we also believe strongly in supporting multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research.
We like to think that Newcastle University is big enough to have a full range of subjects, but compact enough for collaborations between different parts of the institution, and with our many partners, to be easily established and to thrive.
