International research is vital to Newcastle University’s Research and Innovation Strategy. The University has a wide range of international partnerships, which support the international scope, reach and impact of our research.

However, University colleagues should be aware of legal, regulatory and funder requirements that apply to research and innovation activities with international partners.  This applies both to informal conversations which involve the sharing of information as well as formal collaborations.
