UK Qualifications

Entrance Requirements For: Q1T4

A Levels

AAA-ABB excluding General Studies. An A Level in Maths or Science is preferred but not essential. 

Scottish Qualifications

AAAAA-AABBB at Higher Grade. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted.

We particularly encourage applicants with some qualifications in mathematical and/or scientific fields. As the course contains a combination of scientific thinking, language skills, and mathematical reasoning, it may be especially suited to the personality of students who have enjoyed both mathematics/science and arts/humanities subjects.

Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.

International Baccalaureate

A minimum of 34-36 points. A qualification in Maths or Science is preferred but not essential. 

Irish Leaving Certificate

H1H1H1H2H3 at Higher Level. We particularly encourage applicants with some qualifications in mathematical and/or scientific fields. As the course contains a combination of scientific thinking, language skills, and mathematical reasoning, it may be especially suited to the personality of students who have enjoyed both mathematics/science and arts/humanities subjects.

Access Qualifications

At least 30 level 3 credits at Distinction and 15 level 3 credits at Merit.

Cambridge Pre-U

D3,D3,D3-D3,M2,M2 in Principal Subjects.

We particularly encourage applicants with some qualifications in mathematical and/or scientific fields. PARTNERS - A Levels

BBB excluding General Studies. An A Level in Maths or Science is preferred but not essential.

PARTNERS - Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma/OCR Cambri

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma/OCR Cambridge Technic

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

Extended Project Qualification

If you offer the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification, we will vary our offer to recognise this.  Your project can be in any topic.
