Brand recognition

The visual identity of a brand refers to the logos, colours, graphics, and imagery which are chosen to represent it. 

Getting your visual identity right, and communicating it effectively is key. This drives connection, clarity and consistency with your audiences. It also gives our brand recognition locally, nationally, and globally.

In January 2024, we launched a refresh of our brand and visual identity. Our new look is bold, confident, and recognisable. It reflects our University community and vision which is to be an inclusive institution that makes a positive impact on our region, the UK and the world. It represents our strength, and our heritage.

As we move forwards we're going back to our roots.
