Tell MAMA works to support victims of anti-Muslim hatred and ensures the mapping, monitoring and measuring of anti-Muslim hatred across the UK. It provides training for local authorities and police groups in understanding the changing nature of anti-Muslim hate. Iman Atta will explore anti-Muslim prejudice and suggest what action is needed to address the rise of anti-Muslim hatred and racism in our communities.

Biography:

Iman Atta is currently the Director and Head of Middle East and North Africa Programmes at Faith Matters, where she leads inter-faith, inter-cultural, conflict resolution and anti-extremism and discrimination programme in the Middle East and UK. Iman also fills the role of Director on the Tell MAMA (Measuring Anti Muslim Attacks) project in the UK. She is also the Founder of two not-for-profit organisations established to facilitate the socio-economic and political development of the Arab region and also fulfils the role of International Facilitator, Trainer and Research Consultant for numerous national and international organisations; developing and leading diverse programmes.
