The changing landscape of political violence

We frequently speak of terrorism, civil war, mass population displacement, human rights abuses, or genocide, among many other instances of violence, but little is known about how these phenomena relate to each other. This lecture looked to redefine our understanding of political violence with a framework that attempts to connect the various factors that make up the complex landscape of political violence.
