In conversation with Chris Mullin

Former Sunderland MP and government minister, Chris Mullin, in conversation with Senior Lecturer in Contemporary British History, Dr Martin Farr about the latest volume of his widely-acclaimed diaries. His latest book chronicles a turbulent period in British public life, from the demise of New Labour, through the austerity years and Brexit, to the death of the Queen.

Chris will be signing copies of his book after the event.

Biography

Chris Mullin is a writer, journalist and politician. He was the MP for Sunderland South from 1987 to 2010 and a former minister. His best known novel, ‘A Very British Coup’, was made into an award winning television series.
